Jenny & Ric Abel's concept of an 'Art Cafe' is one that reflects the personality
of the owners. The philosophy of the Artichoke is true to its name. To truly
enjoy devouring this peculiar little robust plant you must peel away the
leaves one by one to get to the heart and once there this delicacy is fully
realised. This analogy is the basis behind their development. The Artichoke
is a place of Fine Food, Fine Music and Fine Art brought together in a balance
that is as satisfying as any one of their aspects. To enjoy all of their
aspects is getting to the heart of the Artichoke!

Cafe is available for hire for private parties, functions, bucks nights or
hens nights. Artichoke is the ideal and affordable venue to host your special
occasion. its discreet location ensures a privacy in the heartland of Manly's
CBD. Our ideal
private function would cater for between 35-50 people with seating and a
3 course meal, or up to 100 people for that dance party extravaganze with
finger food.
For that exclusive function where you might like to enjoy the privacy of
the entire cafe at a discreet location in the heartland of Manly's CBD.
ART CLASSES
Artichoke holds regular art classes for the beginner to the advanced. Classes
include life drawing, painting for fun, charcoal drawing etc.

Artichoke Gallery Cafe's primary function as an art gallery lies in its ability
to allow after hours viewing. If you are looking at purchasing artwork for
your collection but don't have time to view artwork due to work commitments,
Artichoke is the ideal venue to peruse over possibilities with the opportunity
to enjoy one of the manly freshly prepared meals made by the wisdom of our
Star Chef & Properitor Jenny Kim. Our environment allows for a discreet and
relaxed viewing of artworks without the pressure of purchasing while giving
the exposure to young creaties keen to seek partonage.
